Contributing Effectively (Highly recommended)
in Times of Crisis
with Roger Walsh, MD, PhD, DHL.
Recorded on July 11th, 2020
The enormity of human suffering at this time and all times calls us to help, and at a deep level we all want to help. But what really helps in times of crisis? This presentation will offer principles, practices, and meditations to understand how people react during crises, what helps most at such times, and how we can find and make our optimal contributions.
Roger Walsh MD., Ph.D. DHL holds doctorates in medicine, neuroscience, and humanities, and his day job is as a professor of psychiatry, philosophy, & anthropology at the University of California. There he researches virtues such as love and wisdom, practices to cultivate them such as meditation, and integral responses to our contemporary global crises.
